How to tell good and bad of the wrapping aluminum profile

First of all, we need to know the composition of the wrapping aluminum profile, blank aluminum profile, pvc wrapping film, wrapped glue, etc.

Step one, checking the cross section of the Aluminum profile. Usually, the sliding door factory who has high quality requirements will choose the Titanium-magnesium-aluminum alloy wrapping profile with thickness over 1.2mm. Due to the relatively high cost difference between thin and thick materials, many manufacturers will use thinner Aluminum to reduce the manufacturing cost. For example, some manufactures use 0.8mm, 0.9mm or 1.0mm thick materials, some even use 0.6mm thick, which definitely cannot guarantee the quality of the products. However, some big manufacturers who have the brand awareness will choose to use at least 1.2mm as standard. Only the wrapping aluminum reaches that standard, the stability and working life of the production can be guaranteed.

Step two, checking the PVC wrapping film. Nest industry has various colors and types of wrapping PVC films. So far we have nearly one hundred of different color options of pvc wrapping films for clients to choose. The thicker the pvc film is, the better quality the wrapping aluminum profile will be. The regular pvc film thickness range is from 0.12mm to 0.14mm.

Step three, checking the wrapping process. Usually, the aluminum profile which is using PUR hot melt glue is more stable. Because Aluminum hot melt coating to make products more stable. Because the hot wrapping process can keep the products from foaming and deforming in the temperature from -40℃ to 150℃. Usually, the pvc film on the aluminum profile will be tore off more easily when processed by cold glue than by hot melt glue.

Step four, do some checking on the surface and appearance, check if the surface is blistering, deforming, wrinkling, and if the wrapping is in right place.
