✅ Direct Lamination: Melamine decorative paper is directly applied to the substrate under high temperature and pressure, resulting in a simple and aesthetically pleasing finished panel.
✅ Re-Lamination: Melamine decorative paper is first applied to engineered wood veneer using low-temperature cold pressing, and then applied to the substrate to form the final panel.

✅ Direct Lamination: Thin side edges, beautiful finish.
✅ Re-Lamination: Thicker side edges, noticeable layering.
👉【Types of Re-Lamination】
Re-lamination is cheaper, has higher profit margins, and is less difficult to manufacture. Therefore, there are many different re-lamination processes on the market, all aimed at making you pay the price of direct lamination for a re-laminated product.
These are roughly divided into 2mm re-lamination, 1mm re-lamination, and non-woven fabric re-lamination.
1️⃣ 2mm Re-lamination: A common re-lamination method, cheap and easy to produce, easily identifiable.
2️⃣ 1mm Re-lamination: This re-lamination method is more realistic; it's difficult for those unfamiliar with it to distinguish, achieving a deceptive effect.
3️⃣ Non-woven Fabric Re-lamination: This re-lamination method also has thin side edges, easily mistaken for direct lamination, and businesses often sell this product as direct lamination. However, this method is basically ineffective against deformation and cracking (challenge us if you disagree).
