Natural texture of wood veneer | Burls & forks
Textures in different parts of wood:
Branches twist and diverge due to growth to produce shiny, feathery patterns;
Burls at the roots of trees form deformed textures, producing various swirls and knots in the wood fibers.
Maple Burl Texture:
Black walnut, maple, redwood, etc. often have this texture, and they can be obtained by semi-rotating the burl part.
Trunk Fork Area Texture:
This texture appears at the intersection of the trunk and the first fork. As the tree continues to grow, the texture here is very prominent, showing a variety of interesting texture forms. This texture often appears on black walnut or mahogany.
